I painted this today. Mostly while holding my 2.5 week old daughter in my arms, because she didn’t want to set down.
I painted it for my friend and current boss Ashley Marsh. I didn’t know she was a Whovian until I was looking to paint her a painting for helping me when she thought I was helping her.
My past with Doctor Who is a long one. Since 4th or 5th grade I was a Doctor Who fan. My Doctor was Tom Baker. I watched the show on the PBS station here in Albuquerque, NM. Around then I built a K9 out of cardboard and I took it to school. I was very popular. I asked my dad to call the PBS station one night because they did not show Doctor Who even though it was on their newsletter as being on. Eventually my family pulled our support of the PBS station because of it’s poor handeling of Doctor Who. I still don’t like PBS, not because of anything political, but because of how they ran Doctor Who into the ground here. I haven’t watched much of the new stuff, but I will, some day. (Sorry Chris)
